Pingyang County, Wenzhou City is located in southern Zhejiang and is an old revolutionary base in southern Zhejiang. The Zhejiang Provincial Congress of the Communist Party of China was held here. The Shanmen and Fengwo areas are known as "Zhejiang Yan'an". The terrain in Pingyang County is high in the west and low in the east, due to geographical constraints, municipal water supply can hardly cover the vast rural areas. For a long time, some villagers have relied on well water and mountain spring water for their domestic water. Due to industrial pollution, the long rainy season in the south, and excessive water source organic matter, bacteria, turbidity, etc., the water quality is difficult to meet the national drinking water standards. In recent years, the local government, under the call of the national poverty alleviation and construction of beautiful rural policies, has invested a lot of money to build water supply stations in various villages, which has solved the water problem that has plagued local villagers for a long time. More "Runxin valves" and Runxin ceramic ball valves are used in water supply stations.

On March 17th, at the invitation of Mr. Xie, a water purification company in Pingyang, Yuan Hailin, manager of the R&D department of Runxin Company, and Zhang Zhiwei from the domestic trade department for ball valve, visited the rural water supply project in Pingyang County.

The first stop came to Hudou Village Water Supply Station. Hudou Village has beautiful scenery and is backed by mountains. The newly built Hudou Village Water Supply Station is located on the mountainside behind the village. It completed at the end of 2020. The designed water supply capacity is 200 tons/day and the water supply covers 1,890 people. The water source of the project adopts the surface water of the mountain stream, and the water from the mountain stream is diverted to the water treatment equipment of the water supply station by means of weir construction. After the filter mesh filter + quartz sand filter + ultrafiltration membrane group + hypochlorous acid disinfection treatment, then enter the 200 tons reservoir and transport it to every household through water pipes. The project cleverly utilizes the terrain drop and uses the pressure generated by the water level difference to realize the water treatment process and the transportation of purified water, saving a lot of costs and achieving energy conservation and environmental protection. Since the water source is taken from mountain spring water, which contains silt, colloids and suspended matter, especially in the rainy season, the content of impurities such as silt particles is greater, which puts forward high requirements on the wear resistance of water treatment equipment valves.

Mr. Xie introduced at the scene that his company started purifying water treatment engineering business in 2012, and first adopted a certain brand of filter multi-way valve in Xi'an, which is prone to problems such as leakage and damage. He accidentally learned that Wenzhou Runxin company specializes in water treatment system valves, so switched to "Runxin Valve", which has been operating stably and reliably for many years.

This project requires automatic valves and pipe fittings such as water treatment multi-way valves and two-way pipeline valves to achieve automatic control. The originally designed two-way pipeline valves of the project use solenoid valves or ball valves with ordinary valve core. In the actual application of its previous water treatment projects, solenoid valves are prone to water hammer impact, coil overheating and burnout, spring failure and inability to recover, actual diameter is small, large flow resistance, high price, etc.; ordinary valve core ball valve because of the material of the valve core and the sealing surface is not wear-resistant, and it is easy to cause wear and leakage due to mud and sand in the water. After a lot of understanding, it is known from a company in Suzhou (which uses a large number of Runxin ceramic hard seal ball valves) that Runxin company produce the ceramic hard seal ball valve, which has excellent characteristics of low torque, good wear resistance, good corrosion resistance, and durability, high cost performance, it can effectively solve these problems. In November 2020, Mr. Xie visited Runxin factory to conduct an in-depth understanding of the entire R&D, production, quality inspection and other processes of ceramic hard seal ball valve, and further strengthened the determination to choose Runxin ceramic ball valves.

The project is equipped with a number of Runxin DN80 and DN65 plastic flange ball valves and a F112B automatic filter valve. The equipment installation of the rural water supply project was completed by the end of 2020, and the owner's acceptance was passed in early 2021. During the acceptance, experts from the owner, the Water-Control Bureau and the Water Group gave high evaluations and scores to the reasonable design of the system, the selection and intelligence of the good wear resistance ceramic hard seal ball valve, and it passed the project acceptance one-time smoothly.

Mr. Xie continued to introduce that problems such as valve failure and water quality substandard have occurred in the use of supporting equipment of poor quality. After switching to Runxin valve, the equipment has been running for several months without any failure. The owner and the competent organization gave a high evaluation and highly appreciated Runxin company as a local enterprise produce such a good product. This time, the technical personnel of Runxin company are invited to exchange, just to share experience. In future, Runxin Company's products will be used more and recommended to friends in the same industry, so as to better benefit the vast rural people.

After inspecting the water supply stations in Hudou Village, the group also went to Wenli Village in Tengjiao Town, Tangji Village in Nanyan Town, Xiashan Village and Sanxing Village, and inspected the water supply stations in these villages. It was found that the equipment usage of Runxin ceramic ball valves and filter valves was operating stably without malfunctions.
